In a statement issued by the Indian Army, it was said that seven soldiers trapped in the avalanche in the high-altitude area of the Kemang sector have died. The bodies of all the jawans have been recovered from the site of the avalanche.

Earlier, while giving information, the army had said that a patrolling party of 7 soldiers has come under the grip of an avalanche in the Kameng sector of Arunachal Pradesh. In which all the soldiers were said to be missing. The army had told that for the rescue of all these soldiers, a special team was airlifted to the spot.
