According to Indian Oil Corporation, the price of jet fuel has been increased by Rs 6,188 per kiloliter on Monday. The new rates will be applicable from 31 May 2022. It is worth noting that earlier the price of jet fuel increased by 18.3 percent in March and by 2 percent in April.

At the same time, it has reached Rs 121847.11 per kiloliter in Mumbai, Rs 127854.60 per kiloliter in Kolkata, and Rs 127286.13 per kiloliter in Chennai. There has been a major hike in the price of Jet Fuel since the beginning of this year. According to the report, its price has increased by 61.7 percent since January 2022.
Revision happens twice a month
On January 1, 2022, its price was Rs 76,062 per kiloliter, which has increased to Rs 46,938 per kiloliter so far.
