Petronet LNG Limited has declared its fourth-quarter results. According to these, the company's revenue has increased by Rs 43,169 crore in FY 2021-22 as compared to Rs 26,023 crore in the previous financial year on a year-on-year basis. That is, an increase of 66 percent has been registered in the revenue of the company.
Looking at the results, the company has registered a year-on-year growth of 17 percent at a consolidated level with a consolidated PAT (Profit After Tax) of Rs 3438 crore in FY 2021-22 as compared to Rs 2939 crore in the previous financial year. The highest ever PBT (Profit Before Tax) and PAT in FY 2021-22 stood at Rs 4,474 crore and Rs 3,352 crore respectively. Let us inform you that the growth in PBT and PAT for this financial year is 15 and 20 percent respectively as compared to the same period last year.
However, the company achieved a throughput of 847 TBTU in FY 2021-22 as against 896 TBTU of LNG processed in FY 2020-21. The company was able to achieve strong financial results during the financial year due to efficient commercial management, despite high gas prices, it added. Considering the strong performance of the company, the Board of Directors has also approved a dividend of Rs 4.50 per share.
