About 40 people were injured in an explosion in an LPG cylinder in Shahganj Teli Mohalla of Aurangabad Nagar police station area on Saturday morning. These include civilians and policemen as well. According to the information received, a fire broke out in the house of Anil Goswami due to a leak in the gas cylinder. On receiving this information, the people of the surrounding also reached the spot to help extinguish the fire. Meanwhile, the gas cylinder exploded. 34 civilians including five policemen were injured in the cylinder blast.

Nejam, Amit Kumar, Sudarshan Kumar, Aditya Kumar, Rajiv Kumar, Dilip Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Mohd. Sabir, Mr. Arbaaz, and Chhotu Alam were treated at Sadar Hospital.
