He breathed his last in a hospital in Mumbai today. The news of the death of 69-year-old Bappi Lahiri has broken every one. Bappi Lahiri Passed Away, who gave disco music to Bollywood, is still on everyone's tongue. According to reports, Bappi Lahiri was taken to a hospital in Juhu only after his health deteriorated at home last night, where 69-year-old Bappi Lahiri breathed his last. Bappi Lahiri has given many super-duper hit songs in his career. He is known for giving popular songs in several films of the early 1970s-80s such as 'Chalte Chalte', 'Disco Dancer' and 'Sharaabi'. At the same time, in the year 2020, his last Bollywood song was 'Bankus' in the film 'Baaghi 3'.

 

Bappi Lahiri started his career at the age of just 19. After coming to Mumbai, he got his first break in the Bengali film Dadu in 1972. After this, he composed music for the film 'Shikari' in 1973. Not only this, in the 1980s and 90s, he made many tremendous soundtracks, this included films like 'Vardaat', 'Disco Dancer', 'Namak Halal', 'Dance Dance', 'Commando', 'Gang Leader', 'Sharaabi'.
