Beating Retreat Ceremony Latest Update: Like every year, this time the closing ceremony of Republic Day ended with great pomp. During this, President Ram Nath Kovind reached the venue of the ceremony with full pomp, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed him.
Many dignitaries including the President, Vice President, Prime Minister, Defense Minister, and the Chiefs of the three services were present in the ceremony. Before the departure of President Ram Nath Kovind, his bodyguards saluted him. President Ram Nath Kovind, accompanied by 46 bodyguards, arrived for the Beating the Retreat ceremony with pride.
