Congress is trying hard to make Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra a success. The enthusiasm of the Congress has increased due to the participation of a large number of people in the yatra. In Delhi too, efforts are being made to involve a large number of people to make the Yatra a success. Delhi Pradesh Congress has issued a mobile number (9625777907) on which one can be connected to the yatra by giving a missed call.
This mobile number can be connected by messaging on WhatsApp. Special passes are also being issued for this at Delhi Pradesh Congress Office, Rajiv Bhawan. E-pass will also be issued to people on mobile. Apart from this, visiting the website and filling out a form can also be linked to the yatra. People will also be able to join the Yatra in the capacity of an individual, Congress worker, or any independent organization.
Congress will use various means to take this information to the public. The Yatra will be publicized through social media, mainstream media as well as Radio FM, and other mediums. The yatra will start from Badarpur via Ashram and Nizamuddin. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi will visit Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Chaudhary Anil Kumar told a press conference on Tuesday that the party has made complete preparations to make the yatra a success. For this, the office bearers of the party are continuously taking special meetings with the workers. Now the yatra is all set to arrive in Delhi on 24th December. He said that information is constantly being sought from the public to participate in the yatra. That is why people are being allowed to connect with the yatra through a simple process by issuing a public mobile number.
A strategy has been chalked out to involve people from all seven Lok Sabha, 70 Vidhansabhas, and all 250 wards of Delhi in the yatra. In the journey of about 22 kilometers in Delhi, reception meetings will be organized at various places where people will be able to welcome Rahul Gandhi.
