What is Project 75?
The IK Gujral government had decided to acquire 25 submarines. The construction of the P75 submarines took 30 years of planning. In 2005, India and France signed a $3.75 billion contract to build six Scorpene-class submarines. Mazagon Docks Shipbuilders Limited in India and DCNS in France look after its work.
