Rahul Gandhi: Why did the Sangh leader praise Rahul Gandhi, is the opinion of RSS changing regarding Bharat Jodo Yatra?

General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and top leader of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Champat Rai has praised Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra. He has said that a young man is touring the country on foot in the winter season. It is welcome. Since the trust's treasurer Govind Dev Giri has also praised the yatra, and earlier Satyendra Das, the head priest of the Ramlala temple in Ayodhya, had also wished Rahul Gandhi for the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the VHP leader's statement is considered significant. Used to be. But the big question is what is the meaning of this change in the attitude of the Sangh Parivar and how should it be seen?

Vishwa Hindu Parishad has refused to comment on Champat Rai's statement calling it his personal opinion. Champat Rai himself has also said that there has been no change in anyone's stand on the Bharat Jodo Yatra. He said that there has been no criticism of Rahul Gandhi's yatra by the RSS or Prime Minister Narendra Modi, so there is no such thing as a change in his stand regarding the yatra.

The yatra matches the basic agenda of the Sangh.

Experts of Sangh Parivar believe that all the programs of RSS or VHP are made keeping in mind to connect the nation and Indian culture. This is their basic agenda. In such a situation, the Sangh Parivar cannot oppose any program that talks about uniting the nation or Indian culture. Since Rahul Gandhi is only talking about connecting India with his visit, the Sangh Parivar cannot oppose his visit on principle.

Mohan Bhagwat also said this

The statement of Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat is seen as the official opinion of the RSS. Mohan Bhagwat has recently said that the Sangh Parivar's support to the BJP is not unconditional. They support BJP only because it talks about taking forward the nation and Indian culture. He had said that if other political parties (in the context of Congress) also talk about taking forward the nation or Indian culture, then the Sangh Parivar is ready to support them too.

Senior RSS leader Ram Madhav also made a similar statement at a recent event. He had said that the Sangh Parivar trains its swayamsevaks (workers) for nation-building. After this, he is free to join any party or organization and do any work. If other political parties (in the context of Congress) are ready to adopt our workers with their original ideas, the Sangh can provide workers to them as well. He clarified that the workers of the Sangh are not bound to join any particular political party (BJP).

agenda head for the union

It is clear from this statement of Sangh leaders that its core agenda is paramount for the Sangh. He is not bound to support the BJP and distance himself from Congress. Whichever party or organization comes forward to run according to its agenda, can get the support of the Sangh Parivar. VHP leader Champat Rai's comment on Rahul Gandhi's visit can be seen in this sense.

Other political parties were forced to leave AC rooms

Rajeev Tuli, associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), told Amar Ujala that Champat Rai lives the life of a saint. When a saint is asked for his opinion on any issue, he often praises him. Champat Rai's comment should not be seen in an isolated context. In his saintly nature, he has described Rahul Gandhi's visit as a step taken in the right direction. The Sangh leader said that the country has seen that till now the leaders of various political parties used to talk about the interests of the people while sitting in their AC rooms. But this is the first time after Prime Minister Modi's government came to power that the leaders of other parties are being forced to come on the streets to see the condition of the people. He said that this change in politics should be welcomed.

Rahul's visit possible only because of peace in Kashmir

Rajeev Tuli said that Rahul Gandhi's visit is about to reach Kashmir. This is becoming possible only because of the developmental agenda of the present government which has resulted in development in Kashmir and there has been a reduction in terrorist incidents. If the atmosphere in Kashmir was as tense as it was in the 90s and there were more terrorist incidents, then Rahul Gandhi would not have even thought of taking his yatra to Kashmir. The Sangh leader said that Rahul Gandhi should praise PM Modi's government for bringing peace to Kashmir and for creating an environment for his visit to reach Kashmir.

He said that earlier in the 90s, BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi had taken out the Tiranga Yatra to Kashmir. But due to the tense situation in Kashmir, he was not allowed to reach Kashmir. His journey stopped at Ramban itself. After Murli Manohar Joshi insisted on going to Kashmir, only four-five people were taken to Kashmir by helicopter and the yatra was concluded. He said that today if Rahul Gandhi is thinking of going to Kashmir with all his supporters, it is only because there is peace there. He should thank the present government for this.
