Today is the 90th day of Russia-Ukraine. The war between the two countries is still going on. Amidst the war, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos on Monday. During this, he requested the big companies of the world to leave Russia and invest in Ukraine.

 

Zelensky said- I will not discuss the issue of stopping the war with any Russian official other than Putin. Apart from this, there is no point in talking about any other issue. He said a Russian attack last week killed 89 people in the Chernihiv area, north of the capital Kyiv. According to Zelensky, this is the first time in the early days of the war that so many Ukrainians have been killed simultaneously.

Zelensky said - we will build our country anew

 

Zelensky said that we want to prepare our country anew. Russia has killed 89 civilians in our Denisa city. The Lugano Conference is due in July. Here we will appeal to all countries to invest in Ukraine. Zelensky said that many companies are leaving Russia. Zelensky was given a standing ovation for joining the Economic Forum via video conferencing.

 

Starbucks exiting the Russian market

 

Starbucks, the world's largest coffee shop, has announced its exit from the Russian market. It has decided to close its 130 stores. Now this brand will no longer have a presence in Russia. Starbucks said it would continue to pay its nearly 2,000 Russian employees for six months and help them convert to new jobs.

 

Starbucks' move comes after McDonald's pulled out of the Russian market last week. McDonald's is selling its shops. Starbucks entered the Russian market in 2007.

Tank commander Vadim Shishmarin, 21, is accused of killing a 62-year-old unarmed man in north-eastern Ukraine. He also apologized to the court for his crime. Vadim had received orders to blow up the man from the tank. This is the first such case since the start of the war in Ukraine.

 

Russian diplomat resigns at UN

 

Russia has suffered a tremendous setback on the International Diplomatic Front. Russia's diplomat at the UN not only publicly condemned the attack on Ukraine but also said that they are ashamed because of this war. The name of this diplomat is Boris Vondrev.

 

He expressed his feelings by writing a letter to his colleagues in the UN. Boris said – there is no doubt that the attack on Ukraine was done unnecessarily and forcefully. Our President Vladimir Putin is responsible for this.
