Rajasthan: 522 birds killed so far

So far 522 birds including 471 crows have died in Rajasthan. On Monday, 140 crows died in six districts. Officials of the Animal Husbandry Department say that low power strain has been found in the deaths due to bird flu in Rajasthan, which is not very fatal.

 

Kerala: order to kill 50 thousand ducks in two districts

Cases of bird flu have been confirmed in the Alappuzha and Kottayam districts of Kerala. It has been ordered to kill 50 thousand ducks here. Minister of State for Forests, Animal Husbandry K.D. Haryana: Over 70 thousand chickens killed in two farms in two days

Gujarat: 53 birds killed in Junagadh

On January 2, 53 birds including duck-either-heron were found dead in Batwa village of Junagadh district of Gujarat. They are being investigated. Shyamal Tikadar, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (Wildlife) of Gujarat, told that there is a possibility of bird flu, hence the alert has been given.
