Dr. Pami Dua has been a member of RBI's Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) for four years. She was the first woman member of this committee and in 2016 she was appointed by the Modi government. Poonam Gupta has been the Chair Professor of RBI at the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy. He has recently been appointed as a member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister.
