rescue instructions

The Additional Director has sent a letter to all Regional Managers, and Assistant Regional Managers to prevent accidents by taking action by running a special campaign.

If the load factor of the buses of night services is less than 60 percent, then they should be run during the day.

In every depot, drivers and conductors should be divided into small groups and taught the lessons of safe traffic in fog.

On reaching any bus station, go ahead only after taking information from the buses coming from the opposite direction.

Drivers can stop the buses at a safe place for sufficient time in case of low visibility. Measures to avoid fog should be announced at bus stations from the evening itself.

Backlights and parking lights must be lit at the time of parking the buses. Passengers should not be allowed to go on the road after getting off the bus.

Stickers should be put in the buses so that the passengers should not pressurize the bus to operate when it is stopped due to fog.

A supervisor should be posted at every bus station on the night shift. Who can inform the drivers about the route and inform them about the reason ahead?

The backlight, headlight, and sight indicator must be fitted in all the buses. Similarly, retro-reflective tape and all-weather bulbs must be installed in all buses.
