
Hyderabad, March 29 (IANS) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will lead a delegation on a two-day visit to Singapore, beginning Monday.
This will be Naidu's second visit to Singapore in five months and it comes a few days before Singapore is expected to come out with the master plan for the new capital for Andhra Pradesh.
The chief minister will begin the visit with a breakfast meeting with Singapore's Foreign Affairs Minister K. Shanmugam followed by a high-level meeting with Singapore's Second Minister for Trade and Industry S. Iswaran.
The delegation will then take part in a business seminar where several businessmen and industrialists will meet Naidu, said a statement from his office here on Sunday.
Naidu will also attend a meeting on solid waste management which will be followed by signing of memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the government of Andhra Pradesh.
The next day, Naidu will meet Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. He will then go around Bishan Park and Toa Payoh Town which is an integrated transport hub, commercial and civic space. He will also visit an industrial estate and have an experiential learning journey in one of Singapore's townships.
The delegation includes Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Urban Development Minister P. Narayana, advisor (communications) Parakala Prabhakar and senior officials.
