In Udaipur, Rajasthan, a man was slit to death for supporting Nupur Sharma's controversial statement. This incident shook everyone. It is being criticized all over the world. Indian players have also condemned it. Former all-rounder Irfan Pathan, former pacer Venkatesh Prasad, and leg-spinner Amit Mishra described the incident as heartbreaking. He also called it hurting humanity.

Irfan said that the perpetrator of the incident should be a believer of any religion, it is not right. At the same time, Venkatesh Prasad called it heartbreaking. He has also appealed for peace. At the same time, Amit Mishra raised the question and said - what about his human rights? What about his family? What about his religion?

What did the players tweet?

Irrfan tweeted, "No matter what (religion) you believe in. To harm the life of an innocent is like hurting humanity. ”Irfan keeps giving his opinion on the latest issues on social media. For this reason, some people also criticize him.

On the other hand, Amit Mishra wrote, "Scene of complete chaos in Udaipur. A poor tailor Kanhaiya Lal has been beheaded in the name of religion for a social media post. What about his human rights? What about his family? What about his religion?" Amit Mishra is constantly active on social media since his exit from Team India and IPL. Like Pathan, Amit also writes on the latest cases.

At the same time, Venkatesh Prasad said, "What happened in Udaipur is heartbreaking. I appeal to all to maintain peace in this challenging time. Let the law take the strictest action."
