China Us and Indo-Pacific: China's new maneuver has come to the fore in the South China Sea and the Indian Pacific. China has been shaken after the agreement on the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) during the Quad summit. After this China started sharpening its diplomacy. In this sequence, he has started slamming the new governments of the three major countries there. Experts are looking at it by connecting it to this link. China is keen to improve its relations with new governments in Australia, South Korea, and the Philippines. The visit of the Chinese Foreign Minister to the countries of the Indo-Pacific region is linked to this link. From this, it is being speculated that from South Korea to Fiji, the competition for supremacy between China and America will deepen. Come, let us know what are the opinions of experts on all these matters.

1- Foreign affairs expert Prof Harsh V Pant says that the diplomatic war between the US and China has intensified in the Indo-Pacific region. Especially after the visit of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to the Indo-Pacific countries, China has started sharpening its diplomacy. He said that among the 13 countries included in the IPEF, new governments have come to power in Australia, South Korea, and the Philippines. Nothing is clear about the new equations of their relations with China after the change of power in the three countries. He said that China expects the new government in Australia to adopt a rational attitude towards China. China has said that the new Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese, will give up the anti-China policy. China said that before this, former Prime Minister Scott Morrison had an anti-China policy.

2- Prof Pant says that on the other hand, after the change of power in South Korea, China's eyes are fixed on the new President, Eun Suk Yol. China has expressed hope for good relations between the two countries from Suk Yol. China has expressed confidence that Suk Yol will take forward the very smooth and positive relations with Russia. Let us inform you that after taking oath on May 10, Suk Yol took part in the Quad organization. South Korea has signaled to China by joining the US IPEF that its foreign policy has not been affected by the change of power in South Korea. After joining the IPEF, China's ambassador to South Korea, Xing Heming, condemned the decision. Heming had said that keeping China out of the industrial and supply chain is against the law and the interests of the market. China urged South Korea to stick to the principle of One China.

3- Similarly, while welcoming the change of power in the Philippines, China said that it is a good sign for the bilateral relations between the two countries. China has expressed the hope that under the leadership of Ferdinand Marcos Jr., bilateral relations between the two countries will reach new heights. Let us inform you that on May 9, Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has been elected as the new President of the country. However, Marcos has promised to implement the 2016 international decision on the South China Sea once he takes power. He has indirectly warned China that it will not allow even a millimeter to interfere with its maritime border rights. China has not responded to this harsh remark Marcos. This is part of China's well-thought-out strategy. However, China has said that it will try to resolve differences through dialogue. During this, Marcos also said that he cannot fight a war with China. China had given this point of Marcos a prominent place.

Global Times eye on IPEF

China's Global Times had said that the US is trying to limit China as part of its Indo-Pacific strategy. It says that America will no longer be successful in its strategy. The Global Times has written that now China's move in this area is ubiquitous, due to which America's strategy to limit China is failing. However, no regional agreement could be reached in the meeting held on May 30 between the foreign ministers of the Dragon and Pacific island countries amid China's claim. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang appealed to allies attending the meeting not to worry about China's goal and said that the shared development of China and developing countries will make the world more fair, harmonious, and stable. The special thing is that three days before this, Fiji had announced that it would join the IPEF. It was the first country in the Pacific region to join the US agreement.
