China's new border law: Dragon ready to collide with six countries, what is the conspiracy to use the people settled in Tibet against India?

China has approved a border law for the first time in its modern history. Under this new law, now the Chinese government has set some rules regarding its land borders with 14 countries. This law has been called 'The Land Borders Law' and it will come into force from 1 January 2022. That is, from this date onwards, China will review and act on border-related issues only under its own set of laws. The special thing is that till now China used to make decisions on the issues related to its border based on the central government and the leadership of the army. That is, this law is only a way to give official form to those decisions. However, there are some provisions of the law, which have been made keeping in mind only India. In such a situation, there has been a lot of doubt about how the situation of tension between India and China can change next year.

Meanwhile, Amar Ujala is telling you what are the provisions in China's new law, due to which disputes may arise with the countries sharing the border with it next year. In total, China shares land and sea borders with 16 countries. Of these, 14 countries are connected to it by land border.

Which countries does China have disputes with?

The surprising thing is that China has a constant dispute with six countries – India, Nepal, Bhutan, Vietnam, Mongolia, Myanmar among so many neighbors. Not only this, there are three more countries - Russia, Laos, and Kazakhstan, on which China seems to be claiming its claim despite resolving the dispute.

What is there in China's new law, which can provoke its quarrel?

China's new law is outlined in seven parts. It contains 62 clauses, in which the autonomy and territorial integrity of the People's Republic of China (China) have been declared sacred. Under this law, the People's Liberation Army (PLA) and the People's Arm Police (PAP) are now officially empowered to deal with infiltration, encroachment, or attack in matters related to borders. The law also provides for a legal framework to resolve border issues and closure of borders if required.

How does this law allow to strengthen the possession of the land?

This law is important to strengthen the security system on China's borders as well as promote economic, social, and military development. Article 10 and Article 43 of this law states that China will promote infrastructure, including public services, to make life and jobs easier for the people living there.

This provision is considered important in the sense that after the Doklam dispute of 2016, China will now build infrastructure on the disputed border areas which have been illegally occupied so far, through heavy investment and it. The right will be confirmed.

Article 7 of the same law provides for recognition of infrastructure built in disputed areas of China. Simply put, under this law, the Chinese army will also be responsible for protecting the disputed areas.

How can China use the villages along the border?

Some recent reports have revealed how China has set up its villages on the borders of India, Bhutan, and Nepal. In the Tibet Autonomous Region, China has established about 112 villages in 21 small towns such as Shigatse, Lhokha, Nyingchi, and Ngari. In these two, he has continued the construction work, which after completion will serve as a border security post for the Chinese army.

China uses such villages in two ways, one to settle people and the other to patrol across the border. Earlier, the Chinese army used to do this work only unofficially. But China decided to officially recognize these activities through a new law. In this way, China will leave no stone unturned to adopt an aggressive policy against India by settling its people in Tibet.

What is the biggest concern for India?

China has prepared this law during the ongoing confrontation with India in northern Ladakh for the last one and a half years. That is, the main purpose of this law is to increase the border dispute with India. Under this law of China, now the citizens living on the border areas and the officials of that area have also been given the responsibility of border security. This is a matter of biggest concern for India because there are still a large number of people living in Tibet who are supporters of the Dalai Lama and have been raising the demand to stay apart against the dictatorial policies of China.

Even for India, the area of Tibet has been very calm till now. But after the implementation of this law of China, the peace-loving people of Tibet can also be pressured to be responsible to the Chinese army and the communist government. China itself can keep soldiers ready against India in the event of tension by settling here in large numbers as civilians.

What are the other reasons behind the preparation of this law in China?

On the other hand, the Chinese government has been continuously expressing concern over the infiltration of illegal immigrants. Especially after the Taliban occupation in Afghanistan and the problem of migrants in Central Asian countries. Apart from this, a recent report by the UN Security Council also said that there are about 500 terrorists of the East Turkistan Islamic Movement in Badakhshan, Afghanistan. This area is very close to China's Xinjiang province, where the army is oppressing Uighur Muslims. China fears that the upheaval in Afghanistan will create further difficulties for China and radical activities will start in their region. For this reason, in the new border law, the Chinese army has been given the statutory right to join the fight against cross-border terrorism.

Apart from this, China is at risk of increasing migrants due to military excesses in Myanmar. The Chinese Communist Party also wants to ban migrants coming from Vietnam, so that the migrants coming from this country do not become the reason for spreading corona in China. In the recent past, an increase in corona cases was registered in the provinces bordering China's Vietnam and Myanmar.
