But shortly after, the marriage was postponed after the name of Komuro's mother was involved in a money scandal that surfaced in media reports. After this, in 2018 Komuro moved to New York to study law and from there returned to Japan only in September last month.
Princess will get a passport made for the first time
After marriage, Princess Mako will live with her husband Komuro in New York, USA, for which she will apply for a passport for the first time in her life. Members of the Imperial Family of Japan use diplomatic cards instead of passports to travel to other countries. Because of this, Mako's passport is not made.
Princess Mako, who attended a joint news conference with her husband after the wedding, said that they are ready to build a happy life after recovering from the turmoil after the engagement. He also denounced the media reports that cited Komuro as the cause of his misery and stress.
