Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) has filed a complaint with the Economic Branch of Mumbai Police against Book My Show and its management. BJYM has accused the management of Book My Show of money laundering and fraud of Rs 500 crore in connection with ticket sales for the upcoming Coldplay concert. Complaints have also been received from ticket buyers on this matter.
BJYM alleges black marketing
Let us tell you that this event is to be held on 18,19 and 21 January 2025 at DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai, Mumbai. On the matter, Tejinder Singh Tiwana of BJYM has alleged that Book My Show is working as an official partner for this concert. Due to this, Book My Show has done black marketing it by not selling tickets on 'first come, first served' basis. Due to this, it has been allowed to charge inflated prices, due to which real fans could not buy tickets.
Fans also complained
Some fans have also complained about the matter. A fan revealed that people are using five gadgets to book tickets but they are unable to book tickets. Another fan Samridhi Chahande said that even after waiting in the queue for hours to get the ticket, I have not got the ticket. After this I saw the price of the same ticket on social media as Rs 50 thousand. Fans have also complained about buying tickets at high prices earlier.
Book My Show issued its statement.
Book My Show has also stated the matter. Book My Show said in an official statement that we have no relationship with any ticket-selling/resale platform or party like Viagogo and Gigsberg for reselling Coldplay's Music of the Spheres World Tour 2025 in India.
