Already troubled by poverty and a weak economy, the Corona epidemic has left Pakistan in a state of disarray. Alam is that he does not have the money to pay the loan installments. In such a situation, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has appealed to the international community to postpone the repayment of debt to the low-income and most affected countries by the end of the corona epidemic and forgive the debts of the very close countries. This information has been given in a media report on Friday.

For cash-strapped Pakistan, the Corona epidemic has created a 'wetting the dough in poverty' situation. Imran Khan's government is trying to raise money from global institutions, including the International Monetary Fund, to deal with the crisis. In a special session of the U.N. General Assembly on Covid-19 on Thursday, Khan placed a 10-point agenda and made some appeals to the international community to defeat the Covid-19 epidemic, according to a Down Newspaper reported.

In this list, he was the first to stop debt repayment and said that till the end of the epidemic, low income and debt recovery from the most affected countries should be stopped. In the next point, Imran Khan said that the debts of such countries that are not in a position to repay the debt should be canceled. Other items on the agenda include the demand for restructuring public sector loans in developing countries, a special allocation of $ 500 billion, bank loans at low rates to low-income countries, etc.

Novel coronavirus has infected 4 lakh 10 thousand people in Pakistan and 8 thousand 260 people have died. Imran Khan while addressing the General Assembly said that the corona epidemic is the most serious global crisis after the second world war. Leaders and dozens of ministers from more than 100 countries are participating in the UNGA's virtual special session that began on Thursday.
