Parliament Winter Session: Agriculture Law Return Bill passed in Parliament, Rahul attacked the Centre, said - Government is afraid of discussion

Posted on 29th Nov 2021 04:18 pm by rohit kumar

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi spoke to the media after the agriculture law withdrawal bill was passed by both the houses. He said that earlier we had said that the government will have to withdraw agricultural laws and today these laws were repealed. Unfortunately, agricultural laws were repealed without discussion. This government is afraid to discuss.

Rahul Gandhi further said that the government knew that it was wrong. He said that the government itself is confused. Modi government used to think that it can suppress the voice of farmers and the poor but now it is not possible. He said that there are still many demands. There is a demand for guarantee law on MSP and the dismissal of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra. Rahul also said that PM Modi accepted his mistake and his decision led to the death of farmers. Therefore compensation should be given.

Kharge and Adhir Ranjan also attacked the government

On the other hand, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has given a big statement saying that the government blames us for not allowing the house to function. But the Agriculture Laws Repeal Bill 2021 was introduced and passed without discussion. He said that even though the government may have repealed agricultural laws, its 'Mann ki Baat' is something else.

Apart from this, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge said that after the passage of the Agricultural Law Return Bill in the Lok Sabha, now the government will introduce it in the Rajya Sabha without discussion. We want the Agriculture Laws Repeal Bill, 2021 to be discussed. But by hurriedly passing this bill in the Lok Sabha, they just want to prove that they are in favor of farmers.

Bill for withdrawal of all three agricultural laws passed by both houses

After the announcement of PM Modi, both the houses of Parliament also got approval on the withdrawal of all three agricultural laws. Although the opposition was adamant on the demand for discussion, the government did not listen and the bill for the withdrawal of agricultural laws was passed by the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
