In the last 24 hours, 4482 new infections have been reported in Delhi. At the same time, 265 people died during this period. This figure of deaths raises a hope that now gradually their number will be reduced. It may be known that more than 300 deaths were happening daily for a long time. At the same time, 9403 patients became infection-free.

Due to the improving conditions in Delhi, the positivity rate has now reached 6.89 percent. Any place in the corona epidemic is considered to be good if the positive rate is five percent or less. In such a situation, if Delhi's infection rate also reaches below 5 percent, then it will be quite a relief.

However, if we talk about the daily tests, then 65004 tests took place in Delhi in a day. Of these, 43915 RTPCR and 21089 antigen tests were performed. Talking about the test, more than one lakh tests were being done in Delhi at one time, in such a situation, having fewer tests is not a good sign. However, if the decreasing infection rate is the same in more tests, then it would be a good sign.

Talking about beds in hospitals in Delhi, there are a total of 24305 beds, out of which 14399 are filled and 9906 are empty. At the same time, 5600 and 478 beds are empty in Dedicated Covid Care Center and Covid Health Center respectively. At the same time, a total of 31197 patients are in Home Isolation.

So far, a total of 14 lakh 2 thousand 873 people have been infected with a corona in Delhi. Out of this, a total of 13 lakh 29 thousand 899 people have been cured and 22111 people have lost their lives. Thus the overall infection rate of Delhi is 7.62 percent while the death rate is 1.58 percent. There are a total of 50863 active patients in Delhi at present. At present, there are a total of 57805 containment zones in Delhi.

A total of 1 lakh 13 thousand 310 people were vaccinated in the last 24 hours in Delhi. Out of this, 93718 got the first dose and 19592 was the second dose. So far, a total of 47 lakh 15 thousand 785 people have been vaccinated in Delhi.
