Eastern Railway has decided to stop operating 10 bad special trains till advance order. In this regard, an order issued on Monday stated the reason behind it as poor protection.
Among these, the daily Sealdah-Newjalpaiguri Special will be closed from May 20 and Newjalpaiguri-Sealdah Special from May 21. The Sealdah-Puri Special, which runs three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), will be closed from May 19, and the Puri-Sealdah Special running on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from May 20.
Kolkata-Haldibari Special running on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday will not run from May 20, and Haldibari-Kolkata Special running on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday from May 21.
Kolkata Silghat Special running on Monday will be closed from May 24 and Silghat-Kolkata Special running on Tuesday from May 19. Except for Sunday, all other heart-breaking Howrah-Balurghat Special and Balurghat-Howrah Special will be closed from May 19.
