This is the largest number of infected individuals found in a single day in any country of the world. Not only this, the figure is seven times that of the most infected new patients in the US. There were 58,700 cases on Friday. 8.66 lakh new patients have been identified all over the world. About half (46%) of these were found in India.

 

Talking about the statistics of death, the highest number of deaths in the world is also happening in India. In the past, 14,285 people died in the world from Corona. Of these, 3,521 deaths were recorded in India. That is, every fourth death occurred in India in the last 24 hours in the world. The highest number of deaths was recorded here in Maharashtra, where 828 infected people died.

Corona Updates

 

Because of the rising Corona case in Goa, a lockdown of 4 days has been imposed since Monday morning. Minister Michael Lobo said in the state government that the supermarket, vegetable shops, grocery shops, and fish shops have been allowed to open from 7 am to 12 noon.

 

The United States has banned the arrival of Indians from May 4. The US administration has taken this decision because of the Corona infection.

 

The Air Force has airlifted four cryogenic oxygen containers from Singapore. Four more containers will be brought today. Along with this, the Air Force sent necessary equipment for the oxygen plant at Dimapur, Nagaland on Friday.

 

On Friday, 15.48 million people were given the first and second doses of the vaccine across the country. Starting today, vaccination will be started for those between the ages of 18 and 45 in the country.

1. Maharashtra

 

On Friday, 62,919 people were found infected. 69,710 people recovered and 828 died. So far, 46 lakh 02 thousand people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 38.68 lakh people have been cured, while 68 thousand 813 people have died. 6 lakh 62 thousand 640 patients are currently being treated.

 

2. Uttar Pradesh

 

On Friday, 34,372 people were found infected. 32,494 people were recovered and 332 people died. So far, 12 lakh 52 thousand people have been infected in the state. Of this 9 lakh, 28 thousand have been cured, while 12,570 patients succumbed. 3 lakh 10 thousand patients are undergoing treatment.

 

3. Delhi

 

27,047 people were found corona positive in the country's capital Delhi on Friday. 25,288 people recovered and 375 died. So far, 11 lakh 49 thousand people have been infected. Of these, 10 lakh 33 thousand have been cured, while 16,147 patients have died. 99,361 are undergoing treatment.

 

4. Chhattisgarh

 

On Friday, 14,994 people were found corona infected. 13,677 people recovered and 269 died. So far, 7 lakh 28 thousand people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 6 lakh 01 thousand people have been cured, while 8,581 patients have died. 1 lakh 18 thousand 958 patients are being treated.

 

5. Gujarat

 

On Friday, 14,605 ​​people were found infected in the state. 10,180 people recovered and 173 died. So far 5 lakh 67 thousand 777 people have been infected. Of these, 4 lakh 18 thousand 548 have been cured, while 7,183 patients have died. 1,42,046 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

6. Madhya Pradesh

 

On Friday, 12,400 people were found corona positive in the state. 13,584 people recovered and 97 died. So far 5 lakh 63 thousand 327 people have been infected. Of these, 4 lakh 66 thousand 915 people have been cured, while 5,616 people have died. 90,796 patients are undergoing treatment.
