According to the Meteorological Department, apart from Delhi, light to moderate rain is predicted in Northeast India, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gujarat, coastal Karnataka, Konkan and Goa, parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Andaman and Nicobar Islands, with heavy rain at some places.
