Corona in the country: 67 thousand new cases in 24 hours, 1188 deaths; Due to the decrease in the case, now the hearing of lawyers in the SC will be held in the physical presence

The cases of corona infection are continuously decreasing in the country. On Monday, 67 thousand 597 new cases of infection have been reported. During this, 1 lakh 80 thousand 456 patients were cured and 1188 people died. There were 3.47 lakh cases in the country on January 20. Accordingly, there has been a decline of 80.5% in the daily case from the peak.

 

Earlier on Sunday, 83 thousand 876 new cases of corona infection were reported. During this, 1 lakh 99 thousand 54 patients were cured and 895 people died. That is, there has been a decline of more than 16 thousand in new cases. On Sunday, for the first time since January 5, new cases in the country were less than one lakh. At present, the total number of active cases in the country, that is, the number of patients undergoing treatment is 9.85 lakh. Since the beginning of the epidemic in the country, a total of 4.23 crore people have come under the grip of infection.

The government on Monday said that information on the number of bodies dumped in the Ganga river during the COVID-19 pandemic is not available.

 

After the decrease in the Corona case, now the hearing of all the cases listed in the Supreme Court on Wednesday and Thursday will be held in the courtroom only in the physical presence of the lawyers.

 

In the last 24 hours, 356 new cases of corona infection have been registered in Mumbai. This is the lowest daily case since December 21 last year.

 

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said the Kovid-19 vaccination in India has crossed the figure of 170 crores.

 

Till 7 pm on Monday, more than 50 lakh people were given doses of the Kovid vaccine.

 

In the last 24 hours, 686 cases were registered in Jammu and Kashmir. Like other states of the country, the number of cases of Kovid is declining here too.

 

Condition of 5 most affected states

 

1. Kerala: New Cases Still Over 20,000

22,524 new infected have been found here on Monday, while 49,586 patients have been cured and 127 people died. A day before this, 26,729 new infections were found on Sunday and 137 people died.

 

Since the beginning of the epidemic, a total of 62.93 lakh people have been infected here. Out of these, 59.32 lakh people have been cured, while 59,115 people have died. The positivity rate is 28.63%. A day earlier, the positivity rate was 30.34%.

 

2. Maharashtra: More than 3,000 declines in new cases

In Maharashtra, 6,436 new cases of the corona were found in the last 24 hours. During this, 24 people died and 18,423 patients were cured. A day before this, 9,666 new cases of the corona were found on Sunday. During this 66 people died and 25,175 patients were cured.

 

A total of 78.10 lakh people have been infected here since the beginning of the epidemic. Of these, 75.57 lakh people have been cured, while 1.43 lakh people have died. The positivity rate is 6.42%, a day before the positivity rate was 6.6%.

 

3. Karnataka: 47 people died due to infection

On Monday, 6,151 new cases were found in Karnataka, while 16,802 people defeated Corona. During this 49 people died. A day before this, 8,425 new cases were found on Sunday, while 19,800 people defeated Corona. During this 47 people died.

 

Since the beginning of the epidemic, a total of 39.02 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 37.75 lakh people have been cured, while 39,396 people have died. At present, the number of patients undergoing treatment here is 87,080, while the positivity rate is 6.2%. A day earlier, the positivity rate was 6.51%.

 

4. Tamil Nadu: Active Cases Still Over 1 Lakh

On Monday, 5,104 new cases were reported here. 21,027 people were cured and 13 people died. A day before this, 6,120 new cases were reported on Sunday. 23,144 people were cured and 26 people died.

 

So far, a total of 34.15 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 32.72 lakh people have been cured, while 37,772 people have died. Here the active case is 1.05 lakh and the positivity rate is close to 5%.

 

5. Madhya Pradesh: New cases decreased and 2 died

In Madhya Pradesh, 3,945 cases were reported in the last 24 hours and 8,130 people were cured. During this 2 people died. A day before this, 5,171 cases were reported on Sunday and 8,373 people were cured. During this 6 people died.

 

So far, more than 10.09 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.58 lakh people have been cured, while 10,664 people died. 40,591 patients are currently undergoing treatment. The positivity rate is 5.51%, which was 6.75% a day earlier.

 

1. Gujarat: Nearly three times more people have been cured than new cases

 

On Monday, 2,909 new cases were found in Gujarat. 8,862 people defeated Corona, while 21 people died. A day before this, 3897 new cases were found on Sunday. 10,273 people were cured while 19 people died.

 

So far, a total of 12.03 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 11.53 lakh people have been cured, while 10,688 people have died. Here the active case is 38,644 and the positivity rate is close to 4%.

 

2. Uttar Pradesh: Decline in both new cases and deaths

There were 2,403 new corona cases in the last 24 hours. 3,822 people were cured and 12 people died. Earlier on Sunday, 2,774 new corona cases had come. 7,117 people were cured and 15 people died.

 

So far, 20.46 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 19.96 lakh people have been cured, while 23,330 people have died. 26,725 patients are currently undergoing treatment in the state. The positivity rate here is close to 2%.

 

3. Rajasthan: New cases halved compared to the previous day

In Rajasthan, 2,298 cases were reported in the last 24 hours and 7,299 people were cured. During this 12 people died. A day before this, that is, on Sunday, 4,509 cases were reported and 9,752 people were cured. During this 7 people died.

 

So far, more than 12.47 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 11.97 lakh people have been cured, while 9,391 people died. 40,880 patients are currently undergoing treatment. The positivity rate is close to 10%.

 

4. Andhra Pradesh: New cases reach below 2,000

In Andhra, 1,597 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, while 8,766 people were cured and 8 people died. Earlier on Sunday, there were 2,690 new cases, while 11,855 people were cured and 9 people died.

 

So far, 23.05 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 22.27 lakh people have been cured and 14,672 people have died. Active cases are 62,395. The positivity rate is 8.59%. The positivity rate was 9.41% a day earlier.

 

5. Odisha: 20 killed in 24 hours

In Odisha, 1,497 new cases were registered in the last 24 hours. During this 3,621 people were cured and 20 people died. A day before this, 2,106 new cases were registered on Sunday. During this 3,624 people were cured and 23 people died.

 

So far 12.68 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. The death toll has reached 8,754. The total number of active patients is 17,904 and the positivity rate is close to 4%.

 

6. Chhattisgarh: New cases more than one thousand

In Chhattisgarh, 1,292 cases were registered in the last 24 hours. During this, 1,292 people were cured and 14 people died. Earlier on Sunday, 976 cases were registered. During this, 1,241 people were cured and 9 people died.

 

So far, 11.40 lakh people of the state have come under the grip of infection. The death toll has reached 13,951. The total number of active patients in the state is 13,706 and the positivity rate is close to 5%.

 

7. Haryana: Total Active Cases 11,779

In the last 24 hours, 1,231 new people were found corona infected in the state. 3,544 people were cured and 21 people died. A day earlier on Sunday, 1,544 people were found infected here. 2,995 people were cured and 9 people died.

 

So far, more than 9.66 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.43 lakh people have been cured, while 10,416 people died. A total of 11,779 patients are currently undergoing treatment. The positivity rate is 6.23%. A day earlier, the positivity rate was 5.56%.

 

8. Delhi: Continuous decline in new cases

On Monday, 1,151 new corona cases were reported in Delhi and 15 people died. 2,120 people were cured. A day before this, on Sunday, 1,410 new corona cases were reported and 14 people died. 2,506 people were cured.

 

So far, more than 18.45 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 18.11 lakh have been cured, while 25,998 died. On January 15, the positivity rate in Delhi was 30%, which has come down continuously to below 3%.

 

9. West Bengal: 20.06 lakh infected so far

641 new cases have been found in West Bengal on Monday. During this, 1,742 patients were cured, while 29 people have died. A day earlier on Sunday, 835 new cases were found. During this, 2,083 patients were cured, while 34 people died.

 

A total of 20.06 lakh cases have been found in the state so far, while 19.68 lakh people have been cured. A total of 20,852 people have died. Active cases are 16,864. The positivity rate is close to 3%.

 

10. Punjab: 10,351 active cases in the state

In Punjab, 634 new infections have been found on the last day and 19 people have died. 1,601 people have also recovered from the infection. A day before this, 755 new infections were found on Sunday and 28 people died. 2,692 people have also recovered from the infection.

 

So far 7.52 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.26 lakh people have been cured, while 17,469 people have died. The total active cases are 8,750. The positivity rate in the state is close to 3%.
