Corona: Police team attacked for barricading in Godhra, mob pelted stones

Ahmedabad: The news of the continuous attack on frontline warriors fighting the Coronavirus has increased the government's concern. The latest case is of Panchmahal district of Gujarat (Gujarat). In the Guhaya locality of Godhara here, police and road and building department team personnel were attacked by people. Police also fired tear gas shells on the miscreants. A policeman was injured in this attack. Police has arrested two miscreants.

 

According to the information, the police and the team of Road and Building Department had reached barricading in the quarantined area. The objective was to draw Lakshmanrekha in the quarantined areas. Instead of helping the Corona warriors, the miscreants made fun of the lockdown. On seeing the crowd, the crowd became violent, throwing whatever was found in their hands. People attacked the police with stones and chairs. After which the police fired tear gas shells to control the crowd. According to the information, 1 policeman is injured during this attack. While 2 miscreants have been arrested.

 

Why attack Corona warriors?

Some people were seen outside the house in Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh to have a lock down. The police asked the reason why there was a ruckus. Angry people tried to snatch the abuses and police lathis. Police has registered an FIR against many people.

 

Police attacked to take Corona infected

Recently, news of attack on Corona warriors is coming out from different places of the country. In Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, some people came to know about the attack on health workers and policemen. Medical and police teams had gone to pick up Corona positive people in Jugiana locality of Kanpur. Then around 50-60 people attacked this team.

 

On April 28, a similar picture came from Howrah in West Bengal. But incidents of violence with health workers and security personnel fighting the Corona epidemic are raising the concern of the whole country. That too at a time when they have a lot of responsibility.
