This investigation lasted for 3 months and in these 3 months, STF registered FIR related to 16 different scams. STF was furthering the investigation of the matter that the change of power took place and CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan removed STF Chief Ashok Awasthi as soon as BJP government came.
The entire staff of STF was put into corona duty

CBI investigating 197 complaints
When the CBI started the investigation, it sent 197 complaints back to the STF, since then these complaints were pending. On the instructions of Kamal Nath government, STF was investigating these pending complaints. These pending complaints are being reported between 2014 and 2015.
This is the whole matter…
The investigation of Vyapam scam was first started by the Indore Crime Branch in the Shivraj government. But due to increasing scope of the scam, investigation of this entire case was handed over to STF. The STF investigated this case and arrested many people, but during the investigation, questions started to be raised on STF. Shivraj government handed over the investigation of the case to the CBI. The CBI is still investigating the matter, but the Kamal Nath government, after coming to power, again handed over the investigation of this scam to the STF. The STF only started an investigation of pending complaints. He did not have the right to interfere in the CBI investigation.
