Corona positive number reaches 426 in Bihar, 44 people infected in Patna

Corona infection has also spread to two more localities in Patna, the capital of Bihar. On Thursday, 22 more Corona positives were found in the state, including two people from Mithapur and Magistrate Colony in Patna. With this, the number of corona patients in Patna has increased to 44. Apart from Patna, 11 new cases have been found in Rohtas, four in Sitamarhi, three in Munger and two in Saran. With this, the number of corona patients in Bihar has increased to 426. The 32-year-old youth found corona positive in Mithapur is a technician in the radiology department of IGIMS. He lives with a wife and two children.

Also, he used to travel to IGIMS by bike with a colleague. He continued his duty till April 28, giving his sample for investigation on 26 April. After 28 April, he was in Home Quarantine. At the same time, a 45-year-old man found positive in the magistrate colony works in the agriculture department in Katihar. He got stuck in lockdown when he came home on leave. Now that he had to go on duty, he got a corona check in IGIMS for the health report, in which he turned positive. Principal Secretary of Health Department Sanjay Kumar said that out of 11 new cases found in Rohtas district, 10 are male and one is female.

 

Four positives have been found in Jhukti Bokhara village of Sitamarhi district, of which three males aged 32, 41 and 42 and one female is 38 years old, three males of 14, 16 and 40 years were found positive in Jamalpur Sadar Bazar, Munger. Huh. Apart from this, 35-year-old woman of Najiba in Saran district and 62-year-old elderly of Sonpur have been found positive.

 

22 more patients discharged, 87 returned so far

Health Secretary Lokesh Kumar Singh said on Thursday that 22 people were cured in 24 hours. So far, 87 patients have returned home healthy in the state. 20 people were discharged from NMCH, while two were discharged from Siwan's hospital. There are seven from Munger, seven from Nalanda, four from Buxar, three from Siwan and one from Patna. Superintendent of NMCH Dr. Nirmal Kumar Sinha and Epidemiologist Dr. Mukul Kumar Singh informed that in the presence of Nodal Medical Officer Dr. Ajay Kumar Sinha and Assistant Nodal Medical Officer Dr. Kishore Kumar, associate and junior doctors, 20 patients were discharged after doing X-ray and necessary examination. Gone. All have been instructed to adopt the habit of home quarantine and hand washing for 14 days. The number of patients recovering in NMCH has now increased to 54.

 

Among those who were discharged from NMCH were 28-year-old Mo Javed of Jamalpur Sadar Bazaar in Munger, 52-year-old Shankar Ram Sharma, 36-year-old Mo Pappu, 31-year-old Mo Ekram, 36-year-old Mo Jumman, 30-year-old Mo Naushad and 60-year-old woman Rehana Khatoon, 20-year-old Arjun Kumar Dubey of Siwan, Mo Abdul Rashid 60-year-old Phulwarisharif of Patna, Ayesha, 19-year-old Biharsharif of Nalanda, Aftab Alam, 60-year-old brother Sarfaraz Alam, 50 years old Iys Alia Parveen and Mohammad Ghulam Mustafa and 32-year-old Mohammad Irfan, 60-year-old Mumtaz Alam new Bhojpur, Buxar, 50-year-old Niaz Alam, 39-year-old Nasima Khatoon and her two daughters, including 12-year-old Afrina Khatun and Frdina Khatoon.
