Corona Positive, the wife of Delhi Chief Minister, isolated herself at home; Arvind Kejriwal also quarantined

Meanwhile, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh made a big decision because of the fast-growing cases of Corona across the country. He has asked Army Chief MM Narwane, Defense Secretary Ajay Kumar, and DRDO Chief G Satish Reddy to also provide treatment facilities to common citizens in Defense, Cantt, and DRDO hospitals.

 

The Defense Minister has also asked the local commanders of all the army to meet the chief ministers of their states and give them all possible help. Similarly, the Defense Secretary has been ordered to treat common citizens in all the hospitals of the Cantt Board.

More than 2.50 lakh patients found for the third consecutive day

 

More than 2.50 lakh new patients were found on Monday for the third consecutive day. However, the good thing is that it has registered a decline as compared to Sunday. Within the last 24 hours, 2 lakh 56 thousand 828 people were found infected in the country. More than 2.75 lakh people were found positive on Sunday. For the first time, a record 1 lakh 54 thousand 234 people were also cured. Earlier, 1.43 lakh people were recovered on a single day on 18 April.

 

On the other hand, the sad thing is that the number of those who lost their lives due to infection has crossed 1.80 lakhs. So far 1 lakh 80 thousand 550 people have lost their lives. India has once again reached the top in terms of deaths every day. Brazil is at number two and America at third. About 1,500 people are dying every day in Brazil, while in the US the figure is living between 400-600. In India, 1,757 patients died on Monday.

 

78.37% of new patients met 10 states of the country

On Monday, 78.37% or more than 2.01 lakh patients were identified in 10 states of the country. Maharashtra had the highest number of 58,924 infections. 28,211 in Uttar Pradesh, 23,686 in Delhi, 15,785 in Karnataka, 13,644 in Kerala, 13,834 in Chhattisgarh, 12,897 in Madhya Pradesh, 10,941 in Tamil Nadu, 11,967 in Rajasthan, 11,403 in Gujarat were found to be corona positive.

The government will challenge the order of lockdown in UP

The Allahabad High Court gave a major order on Monday. The court has ordered a complete lockdown by April 26 in 5 big cities of Uttar Pradesh - Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Gorakhpur. Now the state government has decided to challenge this order in the Supreme Court. The government said that it will also file its reply in the High Court. The state government says that it will strictly act in these cities, but will not impose lockdown, because the lockdown will cause an employment crisis.

 

ICSE exams also canceled

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has canceled the examinations of the 10th Board (ICSE) because of increasing cases of infection. The board issued its order on Tuesday morning. The 12th (ICS) examination has been postponed for the time being. Its schedule will be released later.

Explain that two days ago, the board had issued an order to postpone the 10th and 12th examinations. In this, students were given the option for the 10th exam. According to this, the board was going to release the results from the Special Evaluation System for the students of class 10th who do not want to appear in the examination. Now, the Board has withdrawn its old order and has completely canceled the Class 10 examination.

 

Corona updates

Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra has also become corona infected. He took the chair only on 13 April, amid assembly elections in 5 states.

 

The lockdown has started in Delhi from 10 am on Monday to 5 am on 26 April. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced this after a meeting with Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal on Monday.

 

Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Anand Sharma have also become Corona positive. He is admitted to Apollo Hospital.

 

Johnson & Johnson has sought an import license from India for its single-shot vaccine. The US company has also written to the Indian government to allow third phase trials.

 

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao Corona has become infected. He has mild symptoms of the virus. Doctors have advised Rao to remain in isolation.

 

38 children have been found corona infected in a remand home in Chhapra district in Bihar. He has been admitted to the hospital.

 

The Punjab government has ordered all the bars, cinemas, gyms, spas, swimming pools, coaching centers, and sports complexes to be closed from April 20 to April 30.

 

The Kerala government has also announced a night curfew in the state from 9 am to 5 am from April 20. During this period, 20 essential services have been exempted from the ban.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has canceled his tour of India for the second time in a row. Johnson was scheduled to be on a four-day tour of India from Sunday this week but was canceled due to rising corona cases in several states of India, including Delhi. Earlier on 26 January, Johnson was scheduled to be the chief guest on Republic Day, but due to Corona, he had to cancel his time.

 

Director General (DG) of ICMR, Dr. Balaram Bhargava said that the oxygen demand has increased in this wave of Corona. However, the good thing is that there has been no difference in the number of deaths from corona in the first phase and this phase. Dr. Bhargava said that the number of patients with severe and more problems has increased. Due to this, there is more congestion in hospitals.

2. Uttar Pradesh

 

The corona report of 28,211 people came positive on Monday. 10,978 people recovered and 167 died. So far, 8.79 lakh people have been found infected here. Of these, 6.61 lakh have been cured, while 9,997 patients died. 2.08 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.

 

3. Delhi

 

On Monday, 23,686 people were found corona infected in the state. 21,500 people were recovered and 240 died. So far, 9.03 lakh people have been infected here. Of these, 7.88 lakh have been cured, while 12,361 patients lost their lives. 76,887 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

4. Chhattisgarh

 

On Monday, 13,834 people were found corona infected in the state. During this, 12,678 people recovered and 175 died. 1.29 lakh people are undergoing treatment in the state. A total of 1.13 lakh people have been cured, while the figure for total deaths has reached 6,083.

 

5. Madhya Pradesh

 

On Monday, 12,897 people were found corona infected in the state. 6,836 people recovered and 79 died. So far, 4.20 lakh people have been infected by the infection here. Of these, 3.41 lakh people have been cured. 4,636 patients lost their lives. 74,558 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

6. Gujarat

 

On Monday, 11,403 people were found corona infected in the state. 4,179 people were recovered and 117 died. So far, 4.15 lakh people have been infected by the infection here. Of these, 3.41 lakh have been cured, while 5,494 patients died. 68,754 patients are undergoing treatment.
