Anand Vihar Bus Stand of Delhi. It is 3 o'clock at the night. Once again, history is alive and standing in front. Thousands of workers have gathered with their belongings and family.

Neither two yards nor a mask. Was just in a hurry to reach home. Panicked workers from their past are waiting for the cab, bus, and train comprising the boria-bed. After the deteriorating situation from Corona, on Monday morning, the Delhi government has announced a 6-day lockdown.

Why do you want to go home? In response to Nannu Singh of Khagaria, Bihar says, "The owner said that the situation is not good." Get out of the house If you do not leave now, you will be trapped. Pawan Singh of Debari village in Bulandshahr says, "I had just returned from home three months ago after going home due to a lockdown last year." Was preparing to resume business. It was just beginning to freeze that then the lockdown was overthrown. '

What did the village do in the last year? On this, Pawan says, 'What would you do? Finished saving. No agriculture is available, no such work is available in Bulandshahr. There was a supervisor in the cardboard factory here in Khanpur. 12 thousand rupees Month was salary. Children study in the village school. He had to withdraw last year due to non-payment of fees. Thinking of recruiting him again in school, now lockdown again. '

Within hours of the announcement of the 6-day lockdown in Delhi, workers thronged the Anand Vihar bus terminus. Says Nankhu Sahu of Ranchi, "I was in the factory, it turned out that the lockdown has been announced. I called at home, I brought an auto to keep the things tied up. Have to go home. And we set out. '

Most of the workers present at the bus stand are from Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh. And reside in Delhi's Narela, Kiradi, Khirki, Nangloi, Lal Kuan, Trilokpuri, Sultanpuri, Bawana, Patparganj, Okhla.

Delhi became the first state to formally announce a lockdown this year. However, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal appealed to people not to leave Delhi after pictures of the crowd gathered from 5 pm on Monday. But people who were afraid of experience, like cab, bus or train, who were getting the means, were intent on leaving the capital.

Most of the workers were saying the same thing that last time we hoped that maybe the situation will be rectified. Because of waiting, there was a chance of dying of hunger. We had to leave on foot. If trains and buses stop then it will be difficult to leave.

Despite the night curfew, the police also looked soft

Police were also seen running at Anand Vihar Bus Stand. Many policemen were seen helping laborers find buses going to different cities. A policeman said, "Previous experience is enough to scare the workers. They will no longer go back to their homes in Delhi. So we should help them where they want to go.

No challan was deducted even for not applying the mask and not following two yards. Policemen said, "It is not possible to cut challans in such a crowd."

The Chief Minister said- 'No one should leave Delhi, I am neither

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, after seeing the coming pictures of the exodus, told the workers, "I pray with folded hands that you people do not leave Delhi." This is a short 6-day lockdown. I sincerely hope that it does not have to be carried forward. Please do not leave Delhi, the government will take care of you.

Kejriwal said we had no way other than lockdown

On Monday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced a 6-day lockdown after meeting Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal. Kejriwal said we had no way other than lockdown. There have been more than 25,000 cases of corona in Delhi in the last 24 hours. He said that we will use the time of lockdown to mobilize resources.
