Corona Updates: 1,716 new cases found in 24 hours, 3 patients died; 400 active patients reduced

In the last 24 hours, 1,716 new cases of corona have been reported in the country and 3 patients have died. The good thing is that the report of 2,111 patients came negative on the last day. In this way, the 400 patients undergoing treatment for corona in the country have decreased. At present, 13 thousand 678 patients are corona infected in the country, who are undergoing treatment.

 

If we look at the figures for Wednesday, then the number of patients who died of the corona has come down significantly. 33 patients died on Wednesday, while 1,829 new patients were reported. A day earlier on Tuesday, 1,569 corona patients were found in the country and 19 infected people died.

 

The recovery rate increased to 98.75%

 

Looking at the recovery rate of Corona, it has increased to 98.75%. At the same time, there has been a slight increase in the daily positivity rate. The positivity rate in the country was recorded at 0.50% on Thursday, while it was 0.42% a day earlier, i.e. on Wednesday. Corona vaccination campaign is also fast in the country. According to the data of the Ministry of Health, 13 lakh 71 thousand 603 doses were administered on May 18. So far, more than 191 crore vaccine doses have been administered in the country.

 

Active cases in Delhi cross 2 thousand

 

Talking about the state most affected by Corona, 520 new cases were registered in Delhi, while one patient died. There are 2,377 active cases of corona here. In Maharashtra, 316 new cases were found on the last day and not a single patient died. At the same time, 129 new cases were reported in Uttar Pradesh and 2 patients died. If we talk about testing, then UP topped, 1 lakh 12 thousand 315 people were tested here.
