There were 615 deaths in India on February 2-8. At the same time, there have been 144 deaths in the last week.
More number of people who were not vaccinated were hospitalized
On the other hand, according to BMC data, only five percent of the vaccinated people in Mumbai who were affected by the Omicron variant of Corona had to be admitted to hospitals for treatment. While those who did not take a single dose of the vaccine, 17% of those exposed to Omicron had to be hospitalized.

The Health Ministry also said that a lot of doses are about to expire at private immunization centers. If the state government wants, it can change the vaccine present at government centers from these centers. So that they can be used on time at government vaccination centers.
