He is accused of promoting cronyism and corruption. The head of the bench, Abolqasem Salavati, is being described by human rights activists as the 'execution judge in Iran'.

7 people arrested, Iran said – acts of destruction going on from Britain

Iran's Revolutionary Guards have arrested 7 people protesting against moral policing, who hold dual citizenship of the UK and Ukraine. The Iranian government has said that these people were trying to escape from Iran. Accusing Iran of fueling the protests, Iran's foreign ministry said the arrest proved Britain's links to subversive activities here.

The protests, which began in late 2017, lasted until early 2018. Whereas in November 2019, women demonstrated across the country demanding freedom, and living life on their terms. According to the Bloomberg report, the situation in Iran has become very serious. Earlier, the top diplomat of the European Union said that relations with Iran are deteriorating.
