Corona: US, UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Bhutan are sending help to India

Hospitals in India, facing the second deadly wave of the Corona epidemic, are facing a severe shortage of oxygen. Because of the state of the health system that has reached the verge of extinction, the state governments are requesting help from the central government.

 

Special trains have been arranged from many states like Odisha and Chhattisgarh to other states for the supply of oxygen. Many states are also trying to get oxygen from other countries.

 

Amidst these conditions, many countries have offered help to India and are sending or trying to send oxygen and necessary medical equipment to India as soon as possible.

 

For this purpose, airplanes of private companies including Air India and Army planes have also been deployed.

 

The Chinese Embassy present in Sri Lanka has said that China is with India in this difficult time of the epidemic. The embassy has informed that 800 oxygen concentrators have been sent from Hong Kong to Delhi and another 10,000 oxygen concentrators are being sent to India in the coming seven days.

 

French President Emmanuel Macron has said on Sunday that he will send oxygen ventilators to India to fight the epidemic in the coming days.

 

Earlier, the European Commission had said that after receiving India's request for help, it is preparing to send essential medicines and medical supplies to India as soon as possible.

 

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that his government is working closely with the Indian government and the UK is sending 600 medical devices, including more than 300 oxygen concentrators, to fight Corona.

 

In this way, a total of nine consignments of medicines and medical goods are being sent to India, the first batch of which will reach Delhi on Tuesday.

 

German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Sunday expressed concern over the condition of Corona in India and said that her government is busy arranging emergency assistance to help India.

Germany is preparing to send mobile oxygen generators and other medical supplies to India.

 

Singapore has sent 500 bypasses, 250 oxygen concentrators, and other medical supplies to India.

The United Arab Emirates has sent high-capacity cryogenic oxygen tankers to help India.

 

UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed said on Sunday that the UAE is committed to helping and supporting India in the backdrop of a sudden surge in Corona affairs.

 

He discussed the current state of the epidemic in India by phone with Indian counterpart S. Jaishankar and said that he is with India in difficult times.

 

Saudi Arabia has said that it is going to send four cryogenic oxygen tankers and 80 metric tons of oxygen for India's emergency needs.

 

According to the Saudi gadget, this oxygen is being brought to India in collaboration with Adani Group and Linde Company. Apart from this, Linde company will also provide 5000 oxygen cylinders for India, which will also be delivered to hospitals in India as soon as possible.

 

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has said that 12 more cryogenic oxygen tankers are ready to be sent to India, of which six will be airlifted on Monday.

 

The first consignment of oxygen has gone from Dammam port in the east of Saudi to Mundra in Gujarat via sea.

 

The United States has said that it will supply the necessary raw materials to India for the production of the Covishield vaccine so that the production of the vaccine can be expedited.

 

US President Joe Biden has said that America is determined to help India.

 

The statement issued by the White House said that for the past seven decades, the two countries have been each other's allies in the health sector and have been helping, and as in the early times of the Corona epidemic, India had been given medical aid by the US. Similarly, now that India needs it, the US is fully determined to help.

 

The first consignment of 318 Oxygen Concentrator was sent to India from New York's John F. Kennedy Airport on Sunday morning by an Air India aircraft that reached Delhi on Monday morning.

 

Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that the state government has made arrangements to import oxygen from Bhutan.

 

A day earlier, Assam Health and Family Welfare Minister Piyush Hazarika visited the oxygen plant being built in Samsung Jongkhar, Bhutan, and said that once this plant is ready, it will provide 50 metric tons of oxygen daily to Assam, which will lead to corona Will help in fighting.

According to the Union Health Ministry, 3,52,991 cases of corona infection have been reported in the last twenty-four hours in the country. At the same time, 2812 people have died in the last twenty-four hours due to corona in the country.

 

According to the Ministry of Health, with the latest data, the total number of infections in the country has now risen to 1,73,13,163 whereas the number of deaths due to this has reached 1,95,123.

 

3,49,691 new cases of infection were registered here on Saturday, while 3,46,786 cases of infection were registered in 24 hours on Friday. At the same time, the number of deaths was 2,767 on Saturday and 2,624 on Friday.
