Corona virus: Kohli and De Villiers will raise funds by auctioning cricket goods

New Delhi: Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and former South African batsman AB de Villiers auctioned the bat with which he scored a century for Royal Challengers Bangalore during the 2016 IPL (Indian Premier League) match. Will raise funds to fight against.

 

Apart from these two batsmen will also auction other cricket matches. It also includes gloves and T-shirts used for that match played against Gujarat Lions. With the century innings of Kohli and de Villiers, the Royal Challengers scored a mammoth score of 248 for three in this match. The team won this match by 144 runs.

 

De Villiers told Kohli in an Instagram chat, "We have played a few good innings together. That was the 2016 IPL special against Gujarat Lions. I had scored 129 runs and you scored close to 100. It doesn't always happen Is when two batsmen score a century (T20). It is memorable for me. "

 

He said, "I was thinking how we can help, that's why I asked you to bring the bat used in that match. I still have that shirt. " De Villiers said, "We can help in arranging food for the needy in both countries by auctioning it online."

 

Virat Kohli, who scored 109 runs in this match, said, "This is a great idea. You also want to help India where you have a large number of fans. It will be very special."
