BJP candidate Mukesh Sharma from Gurgaon assembly constituency has registered a big win. After the completion of 16 rounds of counting, he defeated independent candidate Naveen Goyal by 68045 votes. Congress candidate Mohit Grover, who came third, got 46947 votes.
In the initial trends before the results, the BJP was leading on all four seats of Gurugram.

In Gurgaon assembly constituency, two lakh 28 thousand 424 voters voted, which is 51.6 percent of the total number of four lakh 43 thousand 102. In the 2019 assembly elections, 62.3 percent of voting took place in Gurugram, while in the Lok Sabha elections, 60.7 percent of votes were cast.
