Vaccine manufacturer Serum Institute of India has decided to provide its Kovidshield vaccine to private hospitals at Rs 225 per dose instead of Rs 600. At the same time, Bharat Biotech will also give booster doses of vaccine to private hospitals for Rs 225 instead of Rs 1,200.
More than 185.64 crore vaccines administered
So far more than 185.64 crore vaccines for corona have been given in the country. More than 99.49 crore people have taken the first dose. At the same time, more than 83.84-second doses have been given. About two and a half crore precaution doses have also been taken.
Uttar Pradesh is on top in terms of vaccination
Uttar Pradesh has got the maximum number of corona vaccines as compared to other states. According to the data released on Kovin's website, more than 30.46 crore doses have been given in UP. More than 16.83 crore people have been given the first dose. At the same time, more than 13.38 crore second doses have been applied.
