Coronavirus Updates: More than 90 thousand new cases in 24 hours, record cases surfaced after 200 days

Record cases of corona have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. During the last 24 hours, about 91 thousand new cases of corona have been reported. During this 325 people have also died due to corona. At the same time, 19,206 patients have recovered.

 

The Health Ministry said that 90,928 new cases of the corona were reported in the country in the last 24 hours. With this, the total cases of corona have increased to 3,51,09,286. At the same time, active cases have increased to 2,85,401. Apart from this, the total number of dead has increased to 4,82,876.

Record cases after almost 200 days

 

After about 200 days, so many new cases of corona have been reported in the country. Earlier on June 10, 92,291 new cases were reported. At the same time, more than 58 thousand cases of the corona were reported on Tuesday.

 

Omicron cases cross 2600

 

The cases of Omicron, a variant of the coronavirus, are also increasing rapidly. The Health Ministry said that the cases of Omicron have now increased to 2,630. Apart from this, 995 patients have also recovered. Maharashtra has the highest number of Omicron cases. In Maharashtra, Omicron has 797 cases while in the country's capital Delhi, its total cases have gone up to 465.

 

Vaccination figure crossed 148 crores

 

At the same time, the number of vaccinations in the country has crossed 148 crores. According to the Cowin app, about 148 crores 71 lakh doses of corona have been given in the country. More than 86 crore 78 lakh first dose while about 62 crores second dose has been given. At the same time, so far about 1.5 crore adolescents have been given vaccine doses. The Health Ministry said that more than 153.90 crore doses of the vaccine have been made available to the states and union territories. States and Union Territories currently have more than 18.43 crore doses of the vaccine.
