Canberra

The corona epidemic is good news for the world. A US biotechnology company has announced the launch of a corona virus infection drug in Australia in humans and expects the pandemic drug to arrive this year.

Dr Grigory Glenn, principal researcher at biotechnology company Novavax, said the company has begun a first phase trial in which the drug will be tested on 131 volunteers from Melbourne and Brisbane, Australia.

About a dozen medicines in trial

Glenn said at an online press conference from Novavax's Maryland headquarters, "We are producing drugs and vaccines together thinking we will be able to show that it works and make it available to the public by the end of the year .

Significantly, in China, America and Europe, about a dozen experimental drugs are in the initial phase of testing or are about to start their trials. It is not yet clear whether any of these drugs will prove to be safe and effective, but many drugs work in different ways and are made with different techniques. This has raised hopes that any of these drugs can be successful.

Work on the vaccine

Novavax told the AP last month, "We do not even touch the virus in the medicine we make, but ultimately it looks like a virus for immunity." This is the same way that Novavax manufactures nanoparticle cold medicine. '

Also, work is underway on the corona vaccine in many countries of the world. Research is being done on about 100 vaccines. India is also involved in this race. At least four vaccines in India are raising hopes in the fight against Corona.
