The new variant of Corona, JN.1, is being reported to be increasing in many countries of the world including India. According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Thursday, the infection has been confirmed in 760 new people in the country. The JN.1 variant has so far spread in about 11 states of the country, taking the total number of infected people to 511. The number of active cases of corona in the country is 4423.
Health experts say that the risk of infection is continuously increasing, due to which everyone should be careful. Given the increasing cases, the Center has asked the states and union territories to maintain constant monitoring of the infection. At present, two states, Kerala and Karnataka, have the highest number of infected cases.
