Covid-19: Dharavi Man With No Foreign Travel History Dies, Maharashtra Minister Voices Concern

महाराष्ट्र के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री राजेश टोपे ने बुधवार को चिंता व्यक्त की कि मुंबई के धारावी में एक कोरोनोवायरस मामले का पता चला है, जो एशिया का सबसे बड़ा स्लम है। उनकी टिप्पणी एक 56 वर्षीय व्यक्ति के बाद आई, धारावी के पहले पुष्टि किए गए कोविद -19 रोगी की शहर के सायन अस्पताल में मृत्यु हो गई।

 

महाराष्ट्र में 335 से अधिक कोरोनोवायरस मामले हैं - भारत में सबसे ज्यादा। धारावी में वायरस के उद्भव ने चिंताएं बढ़ा दी हैं क्योंकि एक लाख से अधिक लोग धारावी में तंग जगहों में रहते हैं।

 

टोपे ने इंडिया टुडे को बताया, "अब तक यह [कोरोनावायरस] क्लासिस्ट था, लेकिन अब इसे आम लोगों के बीच भी देखा जा रहा है।" “धारावी जैसे भीड़भाड़ वाले इलाके से एक मरीज के आने के बाद यह वास्तव में चिंता का विषय है। जो भी प्रोटोकॉल है, हम उसका पालन करेंगे और हम सभी सकारात्मक और उच्च जोखिम वाले रोगियों का पता लगाएंगे। ”

 

पीड़ित 26 मार्च को सायन अस्पताल गया और उसे 29 मार्च को भर्ती कराया गया। उसके लक्षण विकसित होने के एक हफ्ते बाद ही उसे बुधवार को पॉजिटिव बताया गया। उनके पास विदेश यात्रा का कोई इतिहास नहीं है।

 

वह आदमी धारावी में एक कपड़ा की दुकान चलाता था और एसआरए इमारत जहां वह रहता था, जिसमें 300 फ्लैट और 90 दुकानें हैं, अधिकारियों द्वारा सील कर दिया गया था। उसके तात्कालिक संपर्कों का परीक्षण किया जा रहा है।

 

इस बीच, चेंबूर के साई अस्पताल को सील कर दिया गया है और सैनी अस्पताल, जसलोक अस्पताल, भाभा अस्पताल और हिंदुजा अस्पताल कोरोनोवायरस रोगियों के संपर्क में आने के कारण आंशिक रूप से प्रभावित हुए हैं।
