The special thing is that the World Health Organization has also described monkeypox disease as a health emergency. The organization informed on Saturday that so far more than 16 thousand cases have been found in 75 countries and 5 patients have died due to the disease. Apart from Delhi and Kerala, suspected patients of monkeypox have been found in Patna in Bihar and Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh.

Serum Institute talks on for vaccine
The Serum Institute of India (SII) is in talks with Danish firm Bavarian Nordic to import some consignments of vaccines to combat monkeypox cases in the country. SII Chief Executive Officer Adar Poonawalla said this on Tuesday.
