CRPF Raising Day: CRPF is the name of indomitable courage and excellent service, PM Modi said on the foundation day

On the occasion of the 84th Raising Day of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the jawans and their families. He said, be it security-related challenges or humanitarian challenges, the role of CRPF has always been commendable.

 

 

On this occasion, PM Modi said in a tweet, "Congratulations to all the brave jawans, and their family members on the foundation day of CRPF. The CRPF has established a reputation for its indomitable courage and outstanding service. Be it security-related challenges or humanitarian challenges, the role of CRPF is commendable.

On this occasion, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also greeted the soldiers. He wrote in the tweet, "With their valor, the CRPF has not only made an unparalleled contribution in keeping the security of the country intact but has also created a proud history of valor, which every Indian is proud of. I congratulate the CRPF personnel on the 83rd Raising Day and salute their service and dedication to the nation.

The CRPF is one of the oldest Central Armed Police Forces in the country and is responsible for the internal security of the country. It was formed on this day in 1939 as the Crown Representative Police. After independence, this force was renamed as Central Reserve Police Force by an Act of Parliament on 28 December 1949.
