CSK vs RR Pitch Report: It is not easy to score runs at MA Chidambaram Stadium, the pitch here is helpful for spinners

Posted on 12th Apr 2023 11:04 am by rohit kumar

The 17th match of IPL 2023 will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals. In the previous matches, both teams had won. In the last match played against Delhi, Rajasthan won by 57 runs. Dhoni's Dhurandhar defeated Rohit's army by 7 wickets. After the victory, the morale of both the teams is on the seventh sky. There will be a close fight between the two on Wednesday.

Spinner Moin Ali did wonders in the last match

Please tell us that this match will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Talking about the pitch of this stadium (CSK vs RR Pitch Report), MA Chidambaram's pitch is a bit slow. In the last match played here between Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings, 14 wickets fell despite both teams scoring above 200.

Please tell me that 8 out of 14 wickets were taken by the spinners. Chennai spinner Moin Ali did wonders in this match. He took 4 wickets for 26 runs. Both the teams scored more than 200 runs in the last match.

Spinners always get the advantage

In this pitch, the pitch usually breaks down as the game progresses and the ball grips, helping the spinners. Usually, spinners also get the advantage of playing here due to the lack of grass in Chennai. Such a match can be seen once again. The captain would like to bowl first after winning the toss here as even a target of 170-175 runs seems too big on this pitch.

Possible playing-11 of both the teams

Rajasthan Royals (RR)

Yashasvi Jaiswal, Riyan Parag, Shimron Hetmyer, Ravi Ashwin, Jason Holder, Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson (Captain), Dhruv Jurel, Trent Boult, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Sandeep Sharma.

Rituraj Gaikwad, Devon Conway, Ajinkya Rahane, Moeen Ali, Ravindra Jadeja, Shivam Dube, Mitchell Santner, Sisanda Magala, MS Dhoni (Captain), Rajvardhan Hungergekar and Tushar Deshpande.
