AQI Delhi: The amount of pollution in Delhi-NCR is not showing any signs of reduction despite several efforts. At the same time, the air of many other cities of the country is also becoming poisonous. Even in the list of the top 15 polluted cities of the world, 3 are from India.

 

Top 3 polluted cities in India

India's capital Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai are among the top 15 polluted cities in the world. In the live ranking of Swiss company IQAir on 23 November 2023, the capital Delhi is in second place. However, compared to yesterday, the level of pollution in Delhi has increased and it has now moved from number one to number two in the ranking.

Lahore is the most polluted city

According to IQAir's live ranking, Delhi's AQI is rated at 270, which is the second highest after Lahore in Pakistan. Lahore today has an AQI of 504, making it the most polluted city in the entire world.

 

After this, Kolkata is in fourth place in the ranking, whose AQI is 235. At the same time, like yesterday, an AQI of 155 has been recorded in Mumbai, but Mumbai's number in the list has now become 15.

 

AQI crossed 200 at many places in the country

Air pollution is increasing in many cities of the country and the AQI level has crossed 200. In many cities, AQI has crossed 300. Due to increasing pollution, breathing has become difficult for children, the elderly, and sick people.
