A Delhi court has acquitted Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, and nine other AAP MLAs in the assault on the then Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash. However, the court has ordered framing of charges against two AAP MLAs Amanatullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal in this case. This case is from the year 2018.
Manish Sisodia has also held a press conference on this matter today. In which he has called it the victory of truth. Manish Sisodia said that today is the day of victory of justice and truth. The court said that all the allegations, in this case, were false and baseless. The Chief Minister was acquitted in that false case today. We have been saying earlier also that all the allegations were false. It was a conspiracy against the Chief Minister.
This was the claim of the Aam Aadmi Party at the time of the incident
The Aam Aadmi Party says that they had a meeting with the Chief Secretary due to the non-availability of ration to 2.5 lakh ration cardholders. In the meeting, when the Chief Secretary was asked for an answer in this regard, he said that 'I only take the orders of the LG, I will answer them only'. This allegation of the Principal Secretary was rejected outright by the Aam Aadmi Party.
Although the party had admitted that there was a heated argument between the AAP MLA and the principal secretary, the talk of any kind of misbehavior with them is baseless. Along with this, AAP claimed that they also have the video of this meeting, which will clear everything.
It is worth noting that the video and CCTV footage of this meeting was a forensic examination, then it was found that there was no tampering with the video.
