Rath Yatra 2023: Lakhs of devotees gathered in Puri Jagannath Dham, Ashwini Vaishnav arrived to pull the chariot

The world-famous Rath Yatra of Mahaprabhu is being celebrated with full enthusiasm in Jagannath Dham Puri. Due to the Kovid epidemic, after three years, the world-famous Rath Yatra of Mahaprabhu is being taken out amidst a gathering of devotees.

 

In such a way, to see this visit of Mahaprabhu and to have a glimpse of him, there is a huge crowd of devotees since morning. Devotees from all the routes connecting Bardand were seen eager to reach Baddand, singing and dancing along with chanting 'Jai Jagannath'.

There is immense enthusiasm among the devotees to have a glimpse of Mahaprabhu. With the confluence of lakhs of devotees, the entire Badand has become popular. Alam is that the parking lots made for keeping vehicles are filled with vehicles.

 

People are forced to park their vehicles far away from the parking lot. two to three kms. People parked their vehicles at a distance and joined the Rath Yatra chanting Jai Jagannath Nayan Path Gami Bhava Tume.

Devotees who came to participate in Mahaprabhu's world-famous Rath Yatra were completely engrossed in devotion to God. Somewhere drums were being played and at some places, devotees were seen dancing and singing.

 

There is an atmosphere of celebration and devotion in every way. Devotees of Lord Jagannath, who came from India and abroad, were seen dancing and singing on the beats of Dhol Manjira, cymbals in front of the three chariots kept near Singhdwar. The entire Baddand has already been decorated with Rangoli.

Lakhs of devotees have gathered at Puri Bardand to see the world-famous Rath Yatra of Mahaprabhu and to have a glimpse of the charioteer God. In such a situation, to save the devotees from the heat and humidity, water is sprinkled on them.

 

Strong arrangements for Puri Jagannath Dham security

Adequate security arrangements have been made at Puri Jagannath Dham. 180 Platoon Police Force has been deployed in Puri City and surrounding areas. Apart from this, CCTV cameras have been installed at various places. Shooters have been deployed on the houses on both sides of Bardand. All the vehicles entering Puri Jagannath Dham are being searched and released. The President, the Prime Minister, the Union Minister and the Chief Minister, and the Governor have all wished the people of the country for the Rath Yatra.
