Delhi Police says that 'no misbehavior of any kind' was meted out to the activists of 'All India Students' Association' who were protesting outside the residence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday.

Police say that the Delhi Police personnel and officers posted on the spot did the same, which is in their 'Standard Operating Procedure'.

Regarding Sunday's demonstration, women activists of 'AISA' have alleged that the policemen stationed there were protesting against the Lakhimpur Kheri incident and the new agricultural laws outside the residence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He 'misbehaved and harassed her.

The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) has stated the incident, alleging that women activists were abused during the demonstration.

This statement has been issued by Kavita Krishnan on behalf of the central committee of the organization, in which it is alleged that the women policemen stationed there misbehaved with the protesting women workers of AISA. The women policemen picked up the clothes of two women activists Shreya K and Neha Tiwari and attacked their private parts.

Women activist Shreya K has also released audio on her social media, claiming that it is from the same time when Delhi Police stopped her during the protest. Although this audio has not been confirmed.

Sharing the experience on her social media, Shreya K has alleged that male activists were also misbehaved while another activist Neha Tiwari was snatching her mobile phone while she was making a video and was 'wrongly' by female policemen. was touched.

He also alleges that when all these women policemen were doing it, the male policemen were 'watching all these silently'.

Rejecting all these allegations, Jaspal Singh, Joint Commissioner of Delhi Police said, "They are making false statements. Nothing like this happened. The kind of allegations that are being made is unfortunate."

Talking to BBC, Jaspal Singh says that there have been continuous demonstrations in Delhi for the last few days and police personnel and officers are doing their work with great responsibility.

Joint commissioner Jaspal Singh said, "Recently there was a demonstration of BJP workers outside Congress President Sonia Gandhi's residence as well. We stopped the protesters 250 meters away and arrested them. Similarly, there were demonstrations in other places as well. happened and the police have shown a responsible attitude."

Jaspal Singh says that prohibitory orders under section 144 are in force in Delhi. He said that usually there are dharnas and demonstrations at Jantar Mantar itself. That much area has been kept free from this prohibition.

Jaspal Singh, Joint Police Commissioner of Delhi Police said, "Now it is being seen in the political parties that they are now trying to protest outside the houses of the leaders. While this should not happen because the family members live in the house." That's why Delhi Police takes more vigil in such cases."

However, Shreya alleges that despite the injuries sustained during the protest, she was not provided medical aid. They also allege that the arrested protesters were "threatened that if they register a case in this regard, there will be dire consequences."

Delhi Police has also vehemently denied these allegations.
