‘Dhurandhar 2’ hit theaters on March 19. Since its release, the film has been setting new records every single day. First, it became the highest-grossing film in India. Subsequently, the film set a record by crossing the ₹1,000 crore mark in earnings. Let’s take a look at the box office collections for ‘Dhurandhar 2’ and ‘Project Hail Mary’.

By the end of its second week, the earnings for ‘Dhurandhar 2’ had witnessed a decline. However, during the third weekend, the film’s collections saw a resurgence. On Sunday, the film collected ₹28.75 crore at the box office. On its opening day, it had earned ₹102.55 crore. Within its first week, the film’s total business stood at ₹674.17 crore. In its second week, the film earned ₹263.65 crore. Thus, over a period of 18 days, it has amassed a total collection of ₹1,013.77 crore. It has become the first film to cross the ₹1,000 crore milestone at the Indian box office.

 

‘Dhurandhar 2’ Worldwide Collection

 

While ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is performing exceptionally well in India, it is also dominating the box office charts globally. In 18 days, the film has garnered a gross worldwide collection of ₹1,605.74 crore. In North America, the film has earned $25 million. In this region, it has emerged as the highest-grossing film to date.

 

Still Trailing Behind These Films

 

While ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has surpassed all other films at the Indian box office, in terms of worldwide collections, it still trails behind ‘Pushpa 2’, ‘Baahubali 2’, and ‘Dangal’. The worldwide collection for ‘Pushpa 2’ stands at approximately ₹1,742 crore, while that of ‘Baahubali 2’ is approximately ₹1,788 crore. Similarly, the worldwide collection of ‘Dangal’ stands at approximately ₹2,070 crore.

 

‘Project Hail Mary’ Collection

 

‘Project Hail Mary’ is currently running in theaters alongside ‘Dhurandhar 2’. The film is earning at a slow pace. However, its collections saw an uptick over the weekend. On Sunday, the film collected ₹4.90 crore. Over a period of 11 days, the film has garnered a total collection of ₹37.95 crore.
